Horizontal Lifeline (HLL)
Permanently installed horizontal lifelines (HLLs) are a great way to provide fall protection for an unprotected edge, non-compliant parapets, or where there is no protection at all.
Made with 8 mm wire rope, the HLL is installed along a roof edge or wall. Using a lanyard and shuttle that runs along the wire rope, users can have safe access for the full length of the line. The shuttle is specially designed to provide continuous connection to the lifeline without the need to disconnect and reconnect as they move along the line.
HLLs can also be installed vertically to provide fall protection along a permanently installed ladder.
Every HLL installation is custom designed to meet the needs of the structure. To learn more about how Spider’s HLL solution can provide safe access for your building, contact your Spider representative.
