Harnesses

A full-body harness is a critical component of any personal fall arrest system. Full-body harnesses distribute fall forces throughout the body, substantially reducing the chance of injury. In addition, the harness keeps a worker suspended upright and supported while awaiting rescue.

Spider offers both general fall arrest harnesses and constructor harnesses specifically designed for steel erectors and riggers in multiple sizes and configurations. In addition, Spider offers a Relief Step™ Safety Device to reduce the effects of suspension trauma in the event of a fall.

Spider harnesses are designed for maximum comfort and productivity for each user and meet all applicable OSHA requirements and ANSI standards.
