Project Scope

Customer needed to remove and replace a section of the steel spray containment vessel and concrete containment vessels to allow the replacement of the steam drum. 

Challenges

  • Provide a solution that would allow the contractor to replace and weld the spray containment vessel without causing any obstructions that would affect critical path work or interfere with the use of the polar crane.

Solution

Custom double wide modular stirrups with modular platform and 220V 1000 lb hoists.
