All students in Spider's Competent Person Training Program will complete the base course learning modules:
1. Suspended access job planning
Initial planning of a suspended scaffold access job, including
hazard analysis and component selection.
2. Commercial overhead rigging and inspection
Safe practice for assembly and installation of Spider rigging equipment. Identification of proper usage and applications in
the construction and restoration trades.
3. Personal fall arrest equipment
Identify the applications and components of Spider safety equipment for suspended scaffold work. Safe practices
for attachment and use.
4. Safety guidelines
Identify and review OSHA and other code related safety requirements for suspended scaffold work, along with best
practice safety recommendations.
All classes include a comprehensive Knowledge Check (review and written exam documents completion of course).
