Spider's Permanent Installation on Trump Tower, New York Nears Completion.

Seattle, WA - Spider, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, is in the final stages of installing a permanent roof machine atop Trump Tower in New York City.
A jib arm roof machine replaced the previous swing stage system. The tie-down anchor layout and mullion guide layout of the original system were mirrored with the new roof machine. In addition to providing a safe means to access the building's exterior, Spider technical support was instrumental in reconstructing the building's rooftop details necessary to complete the project. Complete compliance with current standards and codes was also attained throughout this replacement process.
The Trump Corporation has recognized the quality and dedication of the Spider name, leading it to turn to Spider for numerous suspended access challenges on some of the country's most renowned buildings. In addition to the Trump Tower project, Spider completed the installation of a similar roof machine on Trump International Hotel and Tower, New York in 2001. Spider recently received the award of the contract to supply the complete façade maintenance system for the new Trump International Hotel and Tower, Chicago. This project will consist of three standard roof machines as well as a custom-designed system. Spider's reputation is continually strengthened by exceeding the expectations of corporate giants like Trump.
The roof machine is currently in place and operational, with final commissioning expected by September, 2005.
