Spider Awarded Façade Maintenance Contract
for 301 Mission Street, San Francisco
September 28, 2005
Seattle, WA - Spider, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, has been awarded the contract to provide a complete façade maintenance system for a new condominium located at 301 Mission Street in San Francisco.
Millennium Partners, owner of the mixed use facility, has selected Spider to supply and install a custom fixed-in-place, crane-style roof machine atop the 58-story tower. A davit and socket system equipped with a platform will be installed on the mid-rise tower. Together, these elements will compose a complete façade maintenance system.
Steve Patterson, Construction Manager with Millennium Partners, stated, "Millennium has worked with Spider on several previous projects. We value their proven track record and the dependability of their systems, and we are pleased to have them on board again."
Upon its completion, the 301 Mission building will be the fourth tallest in San Francisco. The project is expected to be completed in January, 2009.
