Spider Prepares for New Orleans' Reconstruction.
September 13, 2005
Seattle, WA - Spider, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, has deployed an emergency response plan to supply resources and personnel to customers in need of access and safety products in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Spider, the recognized expert in providing powered access and safety solutions for a wide variety of construction, restoration, and maintenance industries, is anticipating the high demand for its products as reconstruction efforts begin. Spider is proactively planning for this by relocating products and personnel to areas where they will be most needed. The company is committed to fulfilling the access and safety needs of its customers and will strive to continue this throughout the hurricane's aftermath.
Spider's New Orleans Operation Center sustained minimal physical damage to the building and inventory, but due to local restrictions and power concerns, there will be limited shipping and service from that facility. Most equipment will be serviced and shipped from Spider's Houston Operation Center. Also, all calls to the Spider New Orleans Operation Center, 504-733-3966, are automatically re-routed to Houston where customer concerns and needs will be addressed.
