Spider Launches New Safety Products, Announces Strategic Alliance with Bacou-Dalloz.
July 9, 2004
Tukwila, WA - Spider, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, has unveiled enhancements to its branded safety product lines, and simultaneously has secured a strategic alliance with Bacou-Dalloz, the world's leading manufacturer of personal protective equipment.
Spider features more robust offerings within its branded fall protection product lines. Spider self-retracting lifelines feature visual load indicators, narrow payout ports, snap hooks with swivels, and do not require annual factory re-certification, thus lowering cost and increasing productivity. Spider's new beam clamps feature the first integral positive-lock engagement pin system on the market. With it, the anchor jaws are locked firmly into the cross bar. All product lines meet all OSHA requirements and ANSI standards, and are CSA certified.
In addition to Spider Brand safety products, Spider and Bacou-Dalloz have also entered an agreement where Spider will be the strategic North American distribution outlet to the suspended access market for Bacou-Dalloz products. These products are well recognized leaders marketed under the brand names Miller fall protection, Biosystems gas detection, Uvex safety eyewear, Howard Leight ear protection, Perfect Fit hand protection, Willson and Survivair respiratory protection, and Fendall eyewash products.
The combination of Spider and Bacou Dalloz products offers customers unparalleled solutions from the leader in suspended access. "We are thrilled to bring together the strength of two respected brands and world leaders in their industries," said Dave Voeller, CEO of Spider parent, SafeWorks LLC. "We chose to partner with Bacou-Dalloz because they offer proven and reliable safety products and services that match Spider's strict standards for quality."
