Spider and 3M: Innovation Unites

Seattle, WA - Spider, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, announces the award of the contract to replace the façade maintenance system on 3M's corporate headquarters located in Maple Wood, Minnesota.
The contract is part of a multi-million dollar refurbishment project to the exterior façade of 3M's first corporate headquarters built in 1955. Spider's façade maintenance system will be custom designed to match the unique chevron contours of the façade. In addition, the building will be equipped with the latest in glass replacement technology. An independent traction hoist will enable the operator to lift and position glass into place with ease, demonstrating Spider's commitment to providing innovative solutions to unique application challenges. Both Spider and 3M emphasize innovation in their respective industries, making this an ideal partnership.
