Spider Modular
Platforms
Spider modular platforms are designed for versatility, ease of set-up, high load capacity, and long spans. Spider modular platforms are made up of three, five and ten foot platform sections that are joined with connectors.
There are numerous accessories that enhance the modular platforms versatility. Special adapters allows two modular platforms to join together to go around corners, with angles
of
30 to 120 degrees. This allows the modular platform
access to all structures.
A walk through stirrup, a walk by stirrup or a cross beam assembly
kit allow a traction hoist to be used with a modular platform. A single
line kit, used with a three or five foot modular platform allows a
single hoist to be utilized. The use of traction hoists allows for
the modular platform to be used in a variety of configurations and
lengths to meet the customer’s needs.
Endgates are used in each of these configurations.
If a drum hoist is being used, then an ST-17, ST-18,
ST-19, ST-26 or an ST-180 basket all can be attached
to a modular platform by using adapter stirrups. Adaptor
stirrups can
also be used to attach modular platform
sections to each other.
End adapter stirrups are used at the end of a modular platform to attach
either a Spider basket or a traction hoist.
